The New Jersey Devils is a professional hockey based in New Jersey. It attempted to take the deal from Nashville, which offered twenty million dollars to a team that would be decent enough to relocate in the Nashville Arena in 1995. Meanwhile, concerned people looked forward to the upcoming expansion by Nashville. In 1996, the date has arrived when the arena has been opened, which was then pre-planned for basketball by the Sacramento Kings but was later deemed for a hockey team.

As such, the New Jersey Devils are member of the Eastern Conference under the Metropolitan Division. The team has been established in Missouri City, in Kansa to be exact .Unfortunately it has been a frustrating days for the Devils when they failed to reach higher than 5th place in their division. It has seemed to be a pattern for the team until such time that Lou Lamoriello stepped in the scene in 1987. As the manager of the team, Devils have been victorious in making it to the play offs.  In fact, they have been able to win every NHL season from 1992 to 1993 and 2009-2010.

Moreover, the team has been based at Meadowlands Sports Complex and have played their home games in Continental Airline Arena.  What makes the New Jersey Devils popular is their defence system.  They are being loved by many fans because of their defence-first play. The team has reaped the rewards of their hardship when they won the Atlantic Division championship 9 times. Nevertheless, the Devils have been relocated to the Metropolitan Division. When the New Jersey left to Brooklyn in 2012, the Devilw were only the team with a branding under the franchise of The State Of  New Jersey.
