The band was founded in 2007 with band members Levi Benton on the vocals and guitar, Justin Aufdemkampe on the guitar, BJ Stead on the guitar, Ryan Neff on the bass and vocals and Jerod Boyd on the drums.  The band from troy, Ohio is well-known for its unique Metalcore/Thrash/Metal genre that has earned them a diehard fan base across North America and Europe.  The band is pretty young, but its musical influence has propelled them to an all new musical height.  The band has already released four albums under their label Rise Records. In 2009, they released the Album Apologies Are for the Weak and in 2010 they released Monument. 2012 saw the band release another album At Heart and their greatest album so far Rise of the Lion which was released in 2014. They also had a self-released EP Vows for a Massacre and released a self-demo in 2008.

The band recently made an explanation concerning the question of its content and they assured that there is no malice in their lyrics. The band is making use of the diversity of its members to create the best for their musical fans across the world. The band rhythm guitarist BJ mentioned Pink Floyd as an inspiration to the band. An attractive feature in their music is the old school feel that they attribute to hands-on instruments.

The band has already announced its 2015 North America tour and they will be hitting the road. The tour August Burns Red featuring Miss May I, Northlane, Erra and Fit For A King.  The opening show will be at Baltimore Soundstage on 22Jan 2015 in Baltimore, MD and subsequent shows in various places in the US and Canada. Tickets are on sale with General Admission tickets going for $27.50, Soundstage Show Package for 2 and four going for $82.50 and $165 respectively.
